Galaxy Gymnastics is proud to provide Salisbury and the surrounding areas with a strong competitive gymnastics program. Here at Galaxy we use gymnastics to help build confidence, strength, and a strong bond with their teammates.
XCEL
XCEL was developed by USA Gymnastics as an alternative for the Developmental program.
XCEL allows children to compete in gymnastics without the intense time required for the developmental program.
Levels Offered:
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Diamond
Practice Length: 2.5-3.5 hours
Days/Week: 2-3 days
Developmental Program
The USA Gymnastics Development Program was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely.
The program allows gymnasts to advance at their own pace.
The program is broken up into 3 segments including Developmental (Level 1-3) , Compulsory (Level 4-5), Optionals (Level 6-10).
Levels Offered:
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Practice Length: 2-4 hours
Days/Week: 2-4 days
Pre-Team
Pre-Team is our transitional team for gymnasts who are on track to be on the competitive team.
We focus on building a strong foundation for skills, building strength and having fun.
This is an invite only team.
Practice Length: 1.5 hours
Days/Week: 2 days/week
